The Summer of Discovery is back for the sixth year running and includes a reading challenge and dozens of events and activities for all ages. The community goal is to read two million minutes. Sign up now with the Beanstack app or in person at any library location. Everyone gets a free book and a can of Good Crisp potato crisps for signing up.

Summer of Discovery runs until July 31, and readers can participate in English or Spanish. Anything counts as reading, including magazines, audiobooks, and graphic novels. Be sure to track your reading and activities to collect your prizes by July 31, 2022.

Finish the challenge in your age group and get free ice cream from Cold Stone Creamery and free entry either to a Boulder Parks and Recreation Facility or to Gateway Fun Park. In addition to the reading challenge, the library is hosting dozens of events and activities.
