Project Overview
The Transportation Master Plan (TMP) is the guiding policy document for the City of Boulder’s transportation system.
Its vision is to create a safe, accessible and sustainable multimodal transportation system that connects people with each other and where they want to go.

Transportation Action Plan
The TMP Action Plan provides a high-level overview of action items the city is implementing to achieve the goals of the TMP. It tracks actions in the focus areas of Safe and Complete Streets, Regional Travel, Transportation Demand Management, Advanced Mobility, Funding and Sustainability.
TMP Process
The TMP is updated every five years and incorporates community feedback. It was last updated in 2019. Every two years, the city releases the TMP Report on Progress to measure progress toward achieving the goals of the TMP.
