Standard Long-term rentals are rentals of 30 days or more at a time. Long-term rentals are required to be SmartRegs (energy) compliant and pass a rental inspection.
Short-term rentals are properties that are rented for 29 days or less at a time. Short-term rental properties are required to be the owner’s principal residence; principal residence is defined as the dwelling unit in which a person resides for more than one-half of the year.
