Trail Description
Sawhill Ponds Wildlife Preserve is made up of 18 individual ponds with many surrounding trails and bench areas. These winding trails create opportunities for hiking, wildlife observation, picnicking, photography, and fishing. Also enjoy sweeping panorama views of both the mountains and plains. Visitors may also connect to trails at Walden Ponds to create a longer trip.
Sawhill Ponds Wildlife Preserve is owned by Colorado Parks & Wildlife and managed by the Open Space and Mountain Parks Department. Swimming and boats are prohibited.
