Natural Selection Nature Programs

Open Space and Mountain Parks staff and volunteers offer ongoing educational and recreational nature-based programs. These programs create space for curiosity, connection and shared understanding of Boulder’s landscapes and histories. All programs are free and open to all.

Request a Customized Program

Free customized programs are available for scout groups, homeschool groups, adult classes, church groups, clubs and community organizations. Programs may include educational activities, recreational excursions, accessible bike rides, contemplative experiences and more.

Choose from a menu of free, fun and interactive standards-based nature and local history programs for students in grades PK–12. Programs are designed to support classroom learning through hands-on outdoor and educational experiences.
