Chapman Drive is a gentle 2.6-mile ascent from the trailhead in Boulder Canyon to Realization Point. This is an excellent trail for social distancing and taking your dog on an adventure. There are several interesting historic rock walls and structures along the way. The trail was originally constructed by the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC) in 1935, which built Chapman Drive to connect Flagstaff Road with Boulder Canyon. Visitors also can access Tenderfoot Trail before reaching Realization Point to add a few extra miles to their journey. Pop in and out of the shade while hiking, biking, or running this wide gravel path.
