Trail Description
Coal Seam starts out flat from Marshall Mesa trailhead, but it becomes rockier after you cross Davidson bridge. Paralleling Highway 93, Coal Seam works its way to connect with the Community Ditch, Marshall Mesa and Marshall Valley trails. This moderately trafficked trail is great for hikers and bikers alike.
Marshall Mesa Trailhead Work
A portion of the Coal Seam Trail is closed because of the construction at Marshall Mesa Trailhead. The rest of the trail is open from the detour trail around the trailhead closure up to Community Ditch. The entire trail will close if there are muddy trail closures.
