Shadow Canyon leads you through a steep incline to the saddle between Bear Peak and South Boulder Peak. Weave in and out of boulders as you stair step from conifer forest to a large burn zone. Enjoy unique views of Devil's Thumb and have the opportunity for rich wildlife spotting. Lower down, the Shadow Canyon North and South Spurs allow different loops and connections to the Mesa Trail.
