All City of Boulder garages are equipped with electric vehicle charging stations, while the 1500 Pearl Street garage has four fast charging stations. Charge up in as little as 30 minutes!

Where Should I Park?

15 Minutes or Less

  1. Prefer Garage Parking

    You can park in one of the city's five downtown parking garages for FREE for up to 15 minutes.

  2. Prefer Street Parking

    To park for FREE for up to 15 minutes on the street, you must initiate a parking session using a parking app or pay station.

Two Hours or Less

  1. Want to Save Time, Money, and Gas

    Head to one of the city's five downtown garages for easy-to-find parking and the best prices.

    Monday - Friday

    • Up to 6 Hours: $1.25 per hour

    • 3pm-3am: Flat rate of $3

    Sundays & Holidays

    • FREE

  2. Don't Want to Save Time, Money, and Gas

    During peak hours, street parking can be harder to find than garage parking.

    Monday - Saturday

    • 9am-7pm: $1.50 per hour. Please see posted time limits.

    Weekends & Holidays

    • FREE

More Than Two Hours

  1. If You Have to Drive

    Head to the garages! With a generous time limit, you don't have to worry about moving your car every two hours.

    Monday - Friday

    • Up to 6 Hours: $1.25 per hour

    • After 6 Hours: Flat daily rate of $15

    • 3pm-3am: Flat rate of $3

    Weekends & Holidays

    • FREE

  2. If You're Open to Other Ideas

    Bike

    With hundreds of miles of bike paths and lanes, Boulder is built for bikes. Bonus: Going by bike is healthier for you and the planet.

    The City of Boulder partners with BCycle to provide a bike and e-bike share program, with stations across the city.

    Bus

    The local HOP, SKIP, and JUMP buses are an economical and eco-friendly way to get around town.

Walk

Boulder is one of the most pedestrian-friendly communities in the nation, earning the Gold-level Walk Friendly Community designation for 2020.

    The city introduced the Boulder Walks program to celebrate walking, highlight historic and cultural resources, and emphasize the health and community benefits of walking.

Bike

Boulder’s hundreds of miles of bike paths and lanes make it one of the country’s most bike-friendly cities.

No bike? No problem. With over 40 bike sharing stations across town and BCycle’s fleet of electric cycles, going for a spin is easier than ever.

    With an active culture, more than 300 days of sunshine and hundreds of miles of bikeways, Boulder is a great place for bicycling.

Bus

If the bus is more your speed, check out the local HOP, SKIP, and JUMP routes or explore the EcoPass and NECO Pass programs that provide unlimited bus and light rail service throughout the Denver and Boulder regions.

    Check out Boulder's network of high-quality, frequent and convenient transit routes that connect local destinations and neighborhoods and regional destinations.

  2. EcoPass Bus Pass Program

    The EcoPass is an annual transit pass for unlimited regional, express, local bus and light rail service throughout the Denver and Boulder regions.

Drive

Park for 15 minutes or a whole day, there are more than 2,500 parking spaces in downtown Boulder alone!

During the summer months, be sure to check out the Park to Park program for free parking and shuttle service to Chautauqua.

  1. City Parking Garages

    Our parking structures are never more than a few blocks away from all the action. Parking in the city garages is the easiest way to park without knowing exactly how long your visit will be.

  2. Park-to-Park Shuttle

    The Park-to-Park shuttle provides satellite parking and free shuttle service to and from Chautauqua, and also includes paid parking at Chautauqua and nearby neighborhood streets during summer weekends and holidays.
