Youth and Family Services

Youth and Family Services is comprised of three programs: the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), Family Resource Schools (FRS) and the Youth Opportunities Program (YOP). These programs offer a range of comprehensive services to support children, youth and families in the City of Boulder.

• Work in partnership with other community agencies and institutions to better integrate and coordinate services for families and make them more accessible.
• Provide programming with a focus on building family strengths.
• Analyze community needs and recommend the development of "family friendly" public policy.

Programs Overview

• Child Care Subsidy (CCS) - Subsidies to for affordable, licensed, quality child care
• Family Resource School (FRS) - Services to support academic achievement at five elementary schools
• Youth Opportunities Program (YOP) - Skills development to promote leadership and civic engagement
