Memorial Day Closures
All city administration facilities and libraries will be closed Monday, May 30 for Memorial Day. Some city facilities and services will be open.
The Park-to-Park shuttle provides satellite parking and free shuttle service to and from beautiful and popular Chautauqua Park on summer weekends and holidays, to create a better visitor experience while reducing vehicular and parking impacts on neighbors and the area’s natural and cultural resources. The program also includes paid parking at Chautauqua and nearby neighborhood streets to help pay for the shuttles, as well as ambassadors to assist visitors, during summer weekends and holidays.
Please note that between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Monday, May 30, shuttle service will be suspended at the Spruce/Broadway and 11th/Pearl stops for the Bolder Boulder race. Service will resume at these stops beginning at 1 p.m.
The Park-to-Park shuttle program operates on summer weekends and holidays from Memorial Day weekend (late May) to Labor Day weekend (early September). For 2022, the shuttle begins operating Saturday, May 28, and runs through Monday, Sept. 5.
The free shuttle runs from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekends and holidays only, and pay parking in/around Chautauqua Park is also in effect on weekends and holidays only. Included holidays are Memorial Day (May 30), Independence Day (July 4), and Labor Day (Sept. 5) in 2022.
Parking revenue helps pay for the free shuttle.
Please note that the Park-to-Park shuttle is a separate service from the HOP 2 Chautauqua shuttle. The HOP 2 Chautauqua is a free transit service to the Colorado Music Festival and Chautauqua Summer Series events and is operated by the Colorado Chautauqua Association.
