Trail Description
Skunk Canyon is a quiet hike with easily observable flora and fauna. Hike from exposed grassland to shady forest in just over a mile. This trail features a beautiful backdrop view that includes the Flatirons, Bear Peak and Devil’s Thumb. Access Skunk Canyon from both NIST Service Road and NCAR. Note: Horses are only allowed on the upper part of Skunk Canyon near the Mesa Trail.
