Whether you’re a long-time resident or visiting for the weekend, Boulder offers countless amounts of activity and trail offerings for all abilities.

Open Space and Mountain Parks Department (OSMP)

The Open Space and Mountain Parks Department manages the city’s trails. On the department’s webpage, you’ll find information about trail closures; dog, bike and equestrian information, maps, and more.

Parks & Recreation Department

The Parks & Recreation Department manages three recreation centers, popular recreation class programming, the Boulder Reservoir, Valmont Bike Park, and more.

Boulder’s Multi-use Path and Bike Route System

Boulder has a robust bicycle network with 160 centerline miles of bike facilities (on-street bike lanes and multi-use paths). This includes 58 miles of paved multi-use pathways and 79 underpasses for bikes and pedestrians!
