Heads Up Boulder traffic safety campaign starts Monday, Sept. 26
The City of Boulder and the University of Colorado Boulder will step up enforcement of the city’s traffic laws in and around several of Boulder’s top locations for motor vehicle collisions involving a bicyclist or pedestrian next week. The enforcement and education campaign is in support of the Transportation Master Plan’s Toward Vision Zero safety objective of eliminating fatal and serious-injury collisions.
The Heads Up Boulder crosswalk safety campaign begins Monday, Sept. 26. Officers from CU and the city will be at intersections around the CU campus. This is the fourth time Boulder and CU Boulder have worked together on this campaign since 2015.
