South Boulder Recreation Center

South Boulder Recreation Center

Facility Update

The South Boulder Recreation Center is open for limited access from 6 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Our number one priority is the health and safety of our community and staff. We ask that you continue to observe the best practices recommended by public health officials in all areas of the park system.

All parks and recreation services offered during the pandemic are informed by:

  • Public Health guidance - what we can safely provide to the community based on current state and local public health orders;
  • Financial feasibility - what we can afford given drastic reductions in key sources of operations revenue (sales tax and user fees); and
  • Staff capacity, which is limited due to the above financial constraints.

Staff will be monitoring these factors continuously to inform decision-making.

If we change a program or league that you’ve signed up for due to changing public health orders, we will notify you by email. All facility changes will be posted on our facility status dashboard and to our social media accounts . We value your support and cooperation during this time.
